Kilbarchan Amateur Athletic Club is based in the county of Renfrewshire approx. 12 miles south west of Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.
Its training venues are easily accessible from the M8 motorway via junction 29 west bound onto the A737 dual carriageway (next to Glasgow International Airport).
The Club was formed in 1974, though there had been a previous club, going back to 1924. Club colours are gold vest with a broad black horizontal chest band.
Although originating in the picturesque village of Kilbarchan, population around 5000, the Club’s main training bases are now in the neighbouring towns of Johnstone and Linwood, the latter having an all weather track adjacent to its Sports Centre.
